January 9 2012 Works have been completed on a new Showroom for Domus Tiles, in Clerkenwell, London. The concept design was by i-am and Architectural services were provided by Ben Mailen Design. September 19 2011 Two new Nine West stores have been completed this month. One at The Friary Shopping Centre in Guildford & the other in the new Stratford Westfield Mall in East London. AB Associates provided Project & Cost Management services to the client. www.ninewest.co.uk

September 19 2011 Four new and three existing Kurt Geiger stores have been completed as part of the launch of a new accessories range to the business. The sites are located at St. Christopher's Place, Stansted Airport, Terminal 5 Heathrow, Westfield White City, Westfield Stratford, The Friary Guildford, & Bluewater.

September 13 2011 A new Chip & Fish outlet opened for trading at the Westfield Shopping Mall in Stratford, East London, next to the Olympic Park. Serving traditional seafood, with a gastronomic twist, this will be a popular destination for shoppers. Chip & Fish are one of 70 restaurants situated within the Mall, together with a further 300 shops, which form part of this £1.4bn development which also includes 3 hotels, a 14 screen cinema, a 14 lane bowling alley and the UK's largest casino.

Nicole Scherzinger officially opened the Centre with a live performance to a selected audience and TV camera's.

AB Associates worked with Chip & Fish and CADA who were concept designers, to procure this restaurant.

August 30 2011 Twinings Tea have recently opened a kiosk retail project in Westfield White City, as part of providing customers with an opportunity to sample and experience a large range of specialist tea's and infusions. AB Associates have worked with Swiss based Mach Architects and Brand Agency Wink Creative to implement a concept design that was manufactured off site in a modular format, such that it could be erected overnight whilst the Shopping Mall was closed for business.

May 5 2011 Chilango open their latest outlet in Chancery Lane, London, which showcases a new concept design for this exciting Mexican street food operator. March 1 2011 Leon have opened an exciting new major restaurant in the busy and fashionable Old Compton Street area of London’s Soho district. This project involved extensive remedial and alteration works to an existing gaming operation, over ground and lower ground floors. A variety of interesting spaces have been created by Fusion Design & Architecture and Leon have added personal touches from a number of TV celebrities who endorse the healthy fast food brand, and these can be seen on the walls throughout the building. February 1 2011 AB Associates completed the Project Management of a major new Ladies Luxury Shoe department on the 1st Floor of Harrods, working with Kurt Gieger and other associated brands. Shed Design have produced a beautiful ‘art deco’ inspired scheme, incorporating an elaborate bespoke feature ceiling, and assorted display fixtures. The project involved complex phasing of the works to minimize the business impact on the trading area and the works were finally unveiled in February, prior to the commencement of London’s fashion week.

November 1 2010 Works have been completed on a new ‘fine dining’ restaurant and a separate bar adjacent to the Royal Courts of Justice. Cigalon and Baranis are developments of an existing City based restaurant business, and the works involved remodeling ground floor and basement areas of a conservation building just off Fleet Street, to incorporate a restaurant operation with two working kitchens. The basement bar includes a ‘petanque’ area where customers can play this boules type game whilst enjoying good food & wine.

September 1 2010 Project Management services were provided to F&F in opening their first ‘stand alone’ fashion store at the Palladium Shopping Centre, in Prague, Czech Republic. AB Associates liaised with UK designers Four IV and our Czech partners SHA Architects to produce this new store for the parent company, Tesco, who had previously only operated the F&F brand as concessions within their own stores.

August 2 2010 Working with the Fenwick retail business at their Bond Street store, AB Associates completed works on a new corporate office suite for the senior management, which was integrated within a major redevelopment of the Bond Street property.

July 1 2010 Kurt Geiger have opened a flagship store in Covent Garden and AB Associates management the project working with the designers Found Associates and John Fields. As part of the works, significant structural alterations were implemented to open up the access between the ground and lower ground floor areas to allow customers to flow through the store. Touch screen/interactive technology has been incorporated which allows people to search through the product directory to locate specific items. Read More

June 1 2010 Fire & Stone have opened their latest restaurant in Spitalfields Market, as part of the development of this specialist ‘world’ pizza business. As with previous projects a genuine wood burning pizza oven has been integrated into the kitchen and restaurant design, together with an open preparation area where customers can see the preparation of the food using high quality ingredients.
